Jul 6 : Expo Park

The EXPO Park was a small amusement park/IMAX theatre combined in one. There wasn't anything special about this park, because it felt like any other amusement park in America. The rides and the shows were similar to what I have seen before. I would say overall the Korean people and Mike’s incident made this experience worth while for me. Although the park was rather dead an elementary school field trip help to fill up the park with joy as tiny little Korean kids, all so cute and innocent looking, made all of us smile.

awwww look at them . . . . .
Mike and I also got to go on some rides, and it turned out that Mike gets motion sickness. It was really funny in some ways to see his reaction to a 3D IMAX film after we rode the crazy rides. Basically, he felt nauseous after a roller coaster, so we had to walk of the IMAX show that we were watching. While halfway walking out Mike passed out right in front of the exit doors. This is where a worker had to come over and check up on us. It was a very embarrassing scene, but I am glad he is okay.

Mike are you okay?

EXPO PARK
In Korea I feel that you get your money's worth. For example, when someone goes to eat in a restaurant they are not expected to leave a tip, and most importantly the food in Korea is more affordable. It is also important to know portions for food in Korea are smaller than the portions for in food in America. Even if you order multiple items to satisfy your appetite the overall price will still be affordable. In the Expo the general admission fee is very low, and then the customer is given an option of rather to buy passes for all shows or rides that they actually want to experience. Meaning they have tickets where they allow a person to buy passes for three rides or three shows or if they want to get the complete package for all rides and shows. In America there is something we all pay for even if we don’t want it, and that is luxury. We all want variety and the most out of things, therefore, well all pay the same rates. Which way of living is correct? I have no idea, but I like to be able to have a choice on what I want to pay for.
