Later that day....beer


It's hard for me remember what exactly happen this afternoon. (My head hurts but I feel better because of my Issac Toast sandwich from Nancy- its a sandwich chain in Korea.) Korea's beer is pretty refreshing- crisp and good aftertaste of barley. Soju is like Grey Goose Vodka- smooth, too smooth (you can get red after 7 shots without knowing it!). So we toured the HITE Production Plant outside Daejeon to an area that was pretty clean. The area around the factory is nothing like the Miller Brewing factory outside Ontario, CA or the Amheiser-Busch Plant in Van Nuys, CA (with that awful smell that spills onto the the 205 freeway-yuk!) None of that was here. Just green pastures. Our tour guide mentioned how it was important for the plant to be eco-efficient for the surrounding farms and small towns.

At the end of the tour was free beer! My partner in crime Leo had sprained his ankle two days ago; so he skipped the tour and started without me. I caught up-

big mistake....

after then, I crashed on the bus and almost threw up because we immediately left after pounding a few. All of us, especially me, complained about the bus driver because of his fast, wide turns and bus air conditioning not working. Cheers!
